thank you jesus i had an extra two prong adaptor for my mac charger (the part they didnt exchange when i got a new cord) b/c this one broke?

I bought a new charge a month ago, but the little two prong square thing you actually plug into the socket, they made me keep that piece. Now I plug it in and suddenly it’s not charging my mac. I look at it and it kinda looks like the metal is eroded or something, I dont know.

BUT I had an extra one of those! Back in the day (haha like 5/6 years ago) I bought a wall charge for my ipod at the time (whichever one it was) and they were bulky like the mac adaptors and not like the little square ones they make now, so it had that little square prong piece that detaches. and it works! i am so glad. but a trip to the apple store is in order… hopefully they don’t cost too much? because having a backup seems important.
